Welcome to the South West Queensland Sub Chamber.

The South West Sub Chamber encompasses 12 very unique and individual localities, each with its own dedicated and successful show society.

The South West incorporates the towns of Charleville, Chinchilla, Cunnamulla, Dirranbandi, Miles, Mitchell, Roma, St George, Taroom, Quilpie, Wallumbilla and Wandoan.

These areas are very strongly focused on agriculture with sheep, cattle, wheat, cotton and sorghum being the predominant industries. There is also a very strong emerging energy industry with both coal and gas being mined.

The local show societies proudly showcase the rich agricultural heritage that exists within these regions, whilst also encouraging the very valuable social and entertainment side of the show. Visitors to any one of these 12 shows would agree that there are many things to entertain or interest you, and in true country spirit you would be welcomed and made to feel at home.

Each show society welcomes stall holders and entertainers from across Australia, and even some international visitors have been present in past years.
