IF YOU PAY YOUR JUDGES, READ THIS!

Did you know paid Judges must have their own insurance?

As with any person you contract to work at your grounds or your Show, if you contract and pay a Judge, they will not be covered under the Group Insurance Public Liability policy.  If you intend to pay any judges at your next show, please ensure they are aware they must have their own Liability cover and you must obtain a copy of the Certificate of Currency before the date of your event.  If you are paying for their accommodation and meals etc but they are volunteering their time to judge they will be covered under the group policy.

Cheques no longer accepted!

Cheques no longer accepted!

Queensland Ag Shows is committed to stemming the spread of COVID-19 and as such have already put steps in place such as having staff work from home and limiting all unnecessary travel.  As such, cheques will no longer be an accepted method of payment.  We have given Societies until the end of April to make arrangements with their banks to move to online banking.  Any cheques received after April will not be banked and the Society will be notified so they can cancel the cheque and arrange payment by other means.

We thank you all for your understanding in moving forward with this change.
